I loved them so much that I still make them today! They're perfect for a quick and easy meal or snack. The key to getting them perfectly crispy is to make sure you coat them in the flour and egg mixture before frying them in the hot oil. The result is a delicious, golden-brown chicken finger that's sure to satisfy any craving.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (454 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup (240 ml) all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25 ml) cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup (240 ml) vegetable oil, for frying

Cooking Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the eggs.
  • Dip the chicken strips in the egg mixture, then coat them with the flour mixture.
