These sweet potato fries are crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and full of flavor
I first tried these sweet potato fries at a restaurant in New York City. I was amazed at how crunchy and flavorful they were. I asked the chef how he made them and he gave me the recipe. I've been making them ever since. They make a great side dish for burgers, sandwiches, or just to snack on. The combination of the sweetness of the potatoes and the savory spices make them irresistible.

Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes (about 500g), cut into thin strips
- 3 tablespoons olive oil (45ml)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (5ml)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder (5ml)
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5ml)
- 1 teaspoon sea salt (5ml)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper (2.5ml)
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220?C (428?F).
- Cut the sweet potatoes into thin strips.
- In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato strips with the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the sweet potato strips onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
