These delicious wings are baked in the oven until they are perfectly crispy and golden brown.
This recipe for crispy baked chicken wings was passed down from my grandmother. She used to serve them at all of our family gatherings and everyone would always fight over the last one. I remember the first time I made them for my family, I was so nervous but everyone loved them. Now, I make them all the time for special occasions and they always bring back fond memories of my grandmother.

Ingredients
- 1 kg (2.2 lbs) chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220?C (425?F).
- Place chicken wings in a large bowl and add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients together until the wings are evenly coated.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the wings out in an even layer.
- Bake for 20 minutes, then flip the wings over and bake for an additional 20 minutes.
- Increase the oven temperature to 250?C (482?F) and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
